(WWT) this week announced the ability to enter room rates and other charges as the actual cost to the guest—inclusive of sales tax. Tax-inclusive pricing is an option included with the latest version of WRP and is a feature that hotels located outside of North America particularly will find convenient.
“Many properties outside of North America require their room cost to be inclusive of the value added tax. With this new release of WebRezPro, all prices can be entered into the system and displayed to the guest as the actual cost, inclusive of tax. In this case, the system automatically posts the proper tax and room revenue to the applicable accounts based on the actual cost,” explained Frank Verhagen, President of WWT.
WRP is currently expanding its client base in Europe, New Zealand and Australia, where sales tax is included in pricing. The tax-inclusive pricing option included in WRP’s newest version caters especially to WRP’s international clients.
