Calgary, AB – August 16, 2018 – World Web Technologies Inc. (WWT) is pleased to announce a direct connection between its cloud property management system, WebRezPro, and PointCentral automated keyless access solutions, streamlining access control for vacation rental operators.
PointCentral’s smart home automation solutions for vacation rentals allow property managers to remotely monitor and control access and energy for all their properties, in real time, from one cloud-based dashboard via any web-enabled device (desktop and mobile), improving security, reducing energy costs and streamlining operations, all while impressing guests. The interface between PointCentral and WebRezPro PMS further benefits operations by automating data transfer between the two systems for improved efficiency and accuracy of keyless access management, including automatically communicating lock codes to guests.
“Smart home automation will be a major driver of making the overall guest experience at private accommodations more enjoyable…” – Sean Miller, president of PointCentral
“Home automation technology is increasingly a key factor in helping private accommodation property managers streamline their operations and save money for owners, with services such as keyless access, direct to home check-in and thermostat control in occupied and unoccupied properties. We are delivering true ‘Smarts’ to home automation with predictive analytics, while giving guests conveniences they pay for, like the ability to check in early or having voice control over lighting and temperature alongside music and local recommendations from a voice assistant like Amazon Echo or Google Home. Smart home automation will be a major driver of making the overall guest experience at private accommodations more enjoyable and more frictionless for the foreseeable future,” said Sean Miller, president of PointCentral. “As the leading provider of Smart Home solutions to the vacation rental industry, PointCentral is proud to play a major role in the global travel industry, and we are excited to work with leading partners such as WebRezPro.”
Without a direct connection between the systems, a property manager must log into their PointCentral dashboard to enter reservation information for each property booking to retrieve a lock code. In turn, the lock code must be manually entered into the corresponding reservation folio within the PMS. Now, with PointCentral integration, WebRezPro automatically sends reservation data to the PointCentral system and PointCentral automatically responds to WebRezPro with the lock code, which WebRezPro can then email to the guest, greatly reducing manual effort and risk of human error.
“Our collaboration with PointCentral makes managing keyless access for vacation rentals even easier and more secure,” commented Frank Verhagen, President of WWT. “We’re very happy to be working with PointCentral to further boost efficiency and guest service for vacation rental operators through automation,” Verhagen said.
